I’m a big girl now!

Lana just turned a year old in April and just started walking this week!  Isn’t she the cutest!

And for all you movie buffs, Stephen Spielberg caught the video and says it will be in his next movie!

Cassia moves to Washington!

 

Cassie got word that Tyrell is coming home from Iraq sooner than expected.  She decided she wanted to have everything move backed to Washington  before he came home.  She has been living in our home for the past year.

Here’s the moving crew!!  Brittany was kind enough to volunteer to drive her up, and when bad weather came along, we all decided to go along and make a road trip of it!

Cassie and Gage will be greatly missed in our home!  We love them dearly!

On Monday we visited Pike’s market and said goodbye to our Sally!

We visited gum wall!  And shared our own contribution!!

I got a new belt in the market!

Karl achieves Senior Ski Patrol Status

After many years of hard work and diligence, Karl’s effort paid off and he received his Senior status and pin on May 15th at the annual ski patrol banquet.

 

As you can see, He really does pretty good most of the time and I’m jealous and hope to get mine soon!

He was awarded his Senior pin and certificate by a representative from the  National Ski Patrol.

 

Congratulations to Karl!!!

Camelback Hiking & Biking

  

Today we biked and hiked around Camelback Mountain.

The hike is more of a climb, and is 2000 feet – straight up!!!

For Mother’s Day Karl surprised me with a trip to Arizona. He was going on a business trip to a fancy resort called the Montelucia. It is just a couple of days but a fun get away. Thank you to Cass for watching Tay.

Moe and Ari - Engaged

 

Morgan waited 6 weeks for the “right” ring and finally proposed on Tuesday April 27, 2010.

                                                                                                                                           Morgan and Ariana Escalante, getting married June 11, 2010.  The reception will be on June 10th.

Spring Break 2010

For Spring Break we took Taylor to Moab to work

on the Cycling merit badge.

The first day we did Bartlett Wash - a 15 miler!

We spent the day with our neighbors, the Sumsions.

The next day we did Porcupine Rim, 20 miles! It was awesome!

We also spent some time in the Canyons

And at Arches
